What sort of an attitude do you have? Are you expecting good things to happen? Are you expecting bad things? Most people start their day in neutral and simply react to what happens to them. They let other people and events determine how they feel and what they do. Unfortunately, when you let other people determine your life, it’s rarely satisfying.
Determine your own life. If you aren't satisfied with your results, the first thing to check is your attitude. Do you treat people the way you wish they would treat you? Do you expect good things to happen? Do you always give your best effort?
The first step to a great attitude toward events and people is a great attitude toward life in general. Here is a good starting point. When you wake up tomorrow, think about what you are happy about in your life. If nothing else comes immediately to mind, think about the fact that you woke up and have another day to enjoy - it’s better than the other option. The simple act of being grateful for the things in your life will improve your attitude immensely. And when you take control of your attitude you take control of your life.
