NLP an Amazing Tool

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is an amazing tool for altering behavior for the better. Those who have had some basic training in NLP contend that it is an effective means of communicating complex ideas, that it can positively influence the behavior of others, and it can be used to motivate people to do things more effectively.

Chaining Anchors To Change Procrastination Into Motivation

A powerful NLP method used to get into a positive state is Chaining Anchors. This is best used when your present state is a long ways off from your ultimate desired state.

Definition of an anchor:

Anytime anyone is in an intense state, and at the peak of that experience, if a specific stimulus is applied, then the two are linked neurologically. Anchoring can assist you in gaining access to past states, and linking the past state to the present.

You anchor the 2 or more steps between procrastination and motivation, creating a logical chain. In quick succession, you arrive at your preferred state very quickly, almost instantly. Because the chain is logical, your brain is more apt to accept the changes too.

When this works, you’ll feel very different about the situation than you did just a few minutes ago and you will find yourself truly motivated!

Empowering Vs. Dis-empowering Emotions

There are two broad groups that the majority emotions can be placed under: Empowering and Dis-empowering. Which emotion group you choose to use can determine your future success. To empower is to give someone the authority to do something, and in this case, to use empowering emotions puts your own self into a position of authority. Empowering yourself means having the right kind of confidence. Dis-empowering emotions do the exact opposite: take away your authority from yourself. Your own life path and success can be determined by which emotion path you choose.

The Science of Empowering and Dis-empowering Emotions

Science has proven that emotions give out vibrations, vibrations that are similar to the levels that atoms vibrate at. Positive, empowering emotions tend to create a stronger vibration that extends past the body. These emotions can be felt by those around you, and your empowering emotions will turn into a sphere of attraction. Negative, dis-empowering emotions vibrate at such a low level that it causes the sphere of attraction around you to be non-existent. People tend to repel and cast away things that they don't wish to feel, even if it's not them who is feeling it.

Types of Empowering Emotions:

Love, passion, happiness, confidence, enthusiasm, etc.

These emotions give off a vibe that says "high energy individual" and "smart individual". People generally want to be around those who seem to be enjoying their life because emotions tend to resonate between two or more bodies communicating.

Types of Dis-empowering Emotions:

Anger, Sadness, Fear, Hurt, Guilt, Jealousy, Irritation, Resentment, Pain, etc.

Think about the rants you hear coming from hate groups and organizations. You would watch them rant about the things they resent, and you would resent them for their anger towards whatever they were ranting against. This would repel you from the hate group almost immediately. There's a reason that hate groups don't go far in the world. Most people don't want anything to do with such negativity. Dis-empowering emotions only attract other dis-empowering emotions. In order to reach to the broader crowd, the majority (who are generally positive), these negative emotions need to be discharged.
